This is a whole fish fried, which is crispy from the outside, tender and juicy from inside. The combination of fried potato chips is the power pair of fried fish.

How to Make Fish and Chips?
Fish
Fried
I
washed the fish with vinegar and salt; it helps lessen the fish smell. Then
rinsed it with cold water pet it dries with a dry cloth and created a slit on
the fish for the masala to penetrate. I let it rest in the refrigerator till
prepared all the masalas and marination.
Then
dry roasted black peppercorn and almonds in a pan to give it a nice toasty
smell, grind it into powder set aside for later use. Take out fish from the
refrigerator, put them in a mixing bowl, or lay them on a deep tray.
Add
ginger, garlic, and onion paste sprinkle prepared almond and black peppercorn
powder, turmeric powder, red chili flakes, dried fenugreek leaves, and salt,
drizzle lemon juice.
Rub
masala on the fish properly, cover and marinate fish for about half an hour at
least. You can also store it in the refrigerator for a day or two.
Meanwhile,
in another mixing bowl, add flour, dried fenugreek leaves, red chili flakes,
and chopped cilantro. Mix everything well.
Now
heat cooking oil in a deep pan, coat the marinated fish in prepared flour,
shallow fry from both sides till fish is golden brown on both sides. Take it
out on a serving dish.
Potato
Chips.
For
potato chips, boil potatoes in a deep pan or utensil till they are more than
half cooked. Do not let it soften a lot; keep it on the hard side.
Drain
water and let the potatoes cool before cutting. Now it's totally up to you if
you want to keep the skin of the potato or peel the skin. I like it with the
skin.
Once
the potatoes are cool enough, cut them into a long shape or into wedges.
In
a mixing bowl, add flour, red chili flakes, dried fenugreek leaves, and salt.
Mix everything well.
Coat
the flour mix on the potato.
Heat
cooking oil in a deep pan and fry potatoes in it. Since potatoes are already cooked,
so take them out as soon as they turn golden brown.
