Juiciest and Masalaydar Chops
45 Mins Serves 5Mutton Chops are the rib of
sheep or a goat, cut into pieces. You can cook them on charcoal, fry them, or
make a nice dry curry.
Today, I am sharing with
you a different masalaydar recipe for chops. It's so flavorful and juicy, all
the spices and herbs have helped bring out the amazing flavor of the chops so
well, everyone will become fond of this dish.
The cooking and preparation
process is simple.

Ingredients
Mutton chops
Black
Peppercorns - 1tsp
Cinnamon - 2
Cardamom - 3 to 4
Clove - 1
Onion - 1 large (thinly sliced)
Ginger and garlic paste - 4 to 5 tsp
Green Chili - 4 to 5
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice
Chili garlic sauce - 1 cup
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Mint leaves
Yogurt
Salt
Tomato - 1
Direction
1- In a deep pan or wok,
pour cooking oil. Once the oil is a little warm, put in black Peppercorn,
cinnamon, cardamom, & clove. Sauté till fragrant. Add onion and sauté till
translucent.
2- When the onion turns
translucent, add chops, ginger, and garlic paste. Mix everything well. Cover
and cook for about 15 minutes. Ensure it doesn't stick to the pan.
3- Now add green chili,
turmeric powder, and lemon juice. Cover and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes.
4- Add chili garlic sauce,
garam masala powder, mint leaves, and yogurt. Mix well and let it cook for
about 15 minutes.
5- After 15 minutes or when
meat is tender, add in tomato, cover, and cook for 5 more minutes. After 5
minutes, when tomatoes are pulpy, take off the skin of the tomato. Simmer
on high flame till chops are well coated in the masala.
