Crispy fried fish/fish pakora the recipe is easy to make and the best option for snacking, appetizer with sauces or as a side dish of mealtime, fulfills the craving of hungry tummies with a delicious and healthy option. You just need a fish fillet or finger fish cut, few spices, and chickpea flour.

Everyone will love these pakoras, or you may call them fritters.

I have fried these fritters, to make them healthier baking and air frying them is the best option.

Ingredients

Blend:
Onion  1 - small
Ginger 1 - small
Garlic 6 / 7 cloves
green chili 2 small


Marinate :
Finger Fish cut or fillet pieces 10 - 12 pieces
Salt To taste
Red chili powder 2 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
lemon juice - 1 whole lemon


Batter preparation:
Chickpea flour - 1 cup
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Funnel seed powder 1 tsp
Cumin seed 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

Directions

1- First prepare marinade for fish, in a blender, add Onion, Ginger, Garlic cloves, and green chili. Blend to a nice paste.

2- In a mixing bowl, add prepared paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, and lemon juice. Mix all these well, coat fish in the mixture, and marinate for at least 2 - 3 hours.

3- For batter preparation, in another mixing bowl, add chickpea flour, prepared paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, fennel seed powder, cumin seeds, and salt. Pour water as required to make it into a thick paste.

4- In a frying pan, heat oil. Coat marinated fish in the batter, place it in the frying pan, fry the fish on medium flame till crispy and golden brown.
